Orgasm.com Re-launches As a Free Video Site

TORONTO — Adult content producers concerned over the amount of free adult content available on the web have a new site to wring their hands over — the redesigned Orgasm.com, which has been reconfigured as a massive depot for free adult video.

According to the company, the site launched with thousands of free clips and at least a dozen new clips will be posted each day, ranging from brief cuts to full-length movies.

The aim of the site, according to Orgasm.com Director of Marketing Ross Horwitz, is nothing less than to climb to the top of the heap where free adult video sites are concerned.

“Orgasm.com is set to become the largest and most popular free adult clip site on the net,” Horwitz said. “With Orgasm.com, you’ll never have to pay for porn ever again.”

Horwitz said that the redesigned site is crafted to give users far more control over their viewing experience than on most free sites, where users aren’t enabled to do much more than download and watch.

“Orgasm.com puts the ‘friendly’ in user-friendly site,” Horwitz said. “For starters, guests can make their own ‘mix tape’ of adult clips with our ‘create a playlist’ feature. We also know that visitors will want to come back again and again to see their favorite adult clips, which is what makes the ‘save to favorites’ function so ideal. Additionally, surfers can ‘spread the love’ by sending their favorite clips to friends.”

One major difference between Orgasm.com and the ‘tube’ style sites that are becoming increasingly common is that users of Orgasm.com cannot upload clips to the system — eliminating the possibility that end-users will upload pirated content to the site, but also potentially diminishing the ‘community’ aspect that contributes to the popularity of user-posted content sites.

The site’s video interface employs simply drag-and-drop functionality; users can search or browse for clips, then drag the appropriate thumbnail into the playback window, and/or add it to their favorites list, all on the same page. A flash-based menu on the site’s main page displays the most recently added clips, providing a looped preview of each new clip.

As one would expect with a site that depends on advertising and upsells to generate revenue, the new Orgasm.com is replete with advertising, including prominent placement for SexSearch ads, as well as links to the company’s Mallcom-backed online store and live feeds provided by Interclimax.
